The PTI founder met six lawyers for an hour in the conference room of Adiala Jail on Tuesday.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan while talking to lawyers in Adiala jail termed repression as an important factor behind the events in Bangladesh and demanded an end to the ongoing crackdown against his party. What is it.
Khan met six lawyers for an hour in the conference room of Adiala Jail on Tuesday. The delegation included Intizar Panjotha, Zubair Kasana, Moazzam Butt, Sohail Sultan, Sameer Khosa and Haroon Irshad Janjua.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail after the meeting, Advocate Intizar Panjotha said that Khan thanked his supporters at the Swabi rally and urged them to hoist the national flag on the night of August 13.
Khan said that the atrocities that took place before the February 8 elections had dire consequences. The narrative created on May 9 was answered by the public in the elections, and there is deep anger over rigged elections,” said Panjotha.
Khan stressed the need to reconsider these decisions, noting that inflation has weakened the economy. He further said that the worsening situation in Bangladesh was also due to this cruelty and the crackdown against PTI should end.
Panjutha also highlighted Khan’s zero-tolerance policy against corruption, mentioning the formation of a committee in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to tackle the issue. “[K-P CM] Ali Amin is doing commendable work in Gandapur Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and his efforts in the Swabi rally are noteworthy,” he said.
